The Computex is the fair of computers, where Taiwanese brands showcase their latest innovations, and Gigabyte would not be less. The most interesting thing they have in the event – for now – is a laptop designed to play. Your name, Gigabyte Aero 14.
As its name indicates this is a notebook with a 14 – inch, and although it seeks to surprise with its size and weight as it did yesterday ASUS, we can say that its design is pretty good for a team designed to play. Inside there is room for high -performance hardware signed by Intel and Nvidia.
The Aero 14 is based on a portable aluminum chassis, and as you can see in the pictures, there is also room for colorful three options: black, green and orange. Colors closely related to the world ‘gaming’ in a rather discreet design.
The main processor is an Intel Core i7 Skylake family. The team can get to have up to 32GB DDR4 RAM format, and there is space for two SSD (M.2 PCIe 3.0 interface x2).
In the graphics Nvidia have two options, or a GeForce GTX 965m or GTX 970M, which in any case is the will to do with an IPS display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution.
Despite the flashy ingredients, Gigabyte ensures that team may have a battery life of 10 hours with moderate use – the battery is WHr 94.24, thats using the integrated graphics, and I happen to think that life in game with an Nvidia at full capacity.

Trying to claim the attention of the players, the keyboard has programmable options with which simplify combinations or perform shortcuts. As for connectors, we have a USB 3.1 Type-C port, three USB 3.0 ports, card reader, and video outputs as important as HDMI 2.0 and miniDisplayPort.
For those who have more curiosity in size, say the thickness of the Aero 14 is 19.9 millimeters and weighs 1.89 kilos. Nothing fancy if we look gallitos of size, but very good numbers if you compare it to other notebooks to play. We have for example a blade that is thinner Razer – 17.9 mm – and has the same screen size. In Gigabyte model more battery and place to change components.
For now no more information on its market or prices, but we know that Gigabyte is not much up to the vine with prices, so it will be interesting to follow in its footsteps.
